Wormlovers is an Australian Vermiculture enterprise founded in 2002 to produce high quality compost worms and worm products, and advocate for the environmental, economic and health benefits of vermiculture production. At Wormlovers we believe the promotion of worm farming and the use of vermi-products at all scales of production can provide cost effective and sustainable solutions to soil health issues, waste disposal challenges, organic food production and sustainable high yield fertiliser needs.

Vermiculture and vermiproducts have wide applications in the home garden, in sustainable development, market gardening, broadacre pasture improvement, aquaculture, horticulture and permaculture systems and the waste management industry.

Vermiculture systems also have a role to play in the fight against climate change. Organic waste that is processed through vermiculture systems reduces greenhouse gas emissions by diverting waste that would otherwise end up in land fill and create toxic sludge, producing methane, a gas which is many times more potent as a GHG that carbon dioxide.

At a time when up to 50% of landfill is organic matter and potential worm food, we believe every home should have a wormfarm.
